Did you install the mobo chipset/video card and LAN drivers after you installed XP?

The available drivers for the Dimension 2350 are at
http://support.dell.com/support/down...id=-1&impid=-1

You have to know how you connect to the internet to select the right drivers, as there appear to be several options in the network category.
Or enter you service tag and it should tell you.

My System
Hi cripancake, Following Steve's reply, did you install Windows Updates and are you running SP3?
IE 7 should be in XP package and SP3 will have chance to opt in IE 8. I don't recollect the need for Internet drivers. Neil.

Go into your device manager and look for any item with a yellow exclamation mark, this indicates that a driver is needed. You may just find that your network adapter is indicated.
