Resolved Event error.

    Have for some time noticed this msg. in Event Viewer.

    "Event ID1
    Source (VSGATE)

    The description for Event ID (1) in Source (VSGATE) cannot be found.
    The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
    message DLL files to display files from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event Socket connection to
    remote system failed. "

    I am not able to decipher this info and am uneasy with my pc in this condition. Advice much appreciated.

    Interesting! I recently installed a maintenance program for my Audi. However it did not cover my particular model, so i will be removing it from my pc. Hopefully uninstalling will solve the problem. Many thanks.
