Windows XP Pro, IE 8/SP3 I cannot play Bing videos, no problem with other videos, but no Bing, what can the problem be?

Thanks ahead to anyone that has seen and knows what causes this inconvenience

Hi, I don't know much about Bing, but would Codecs be a problem? Neil.

Neil, they could be, but most videos on Bing or other websites use either Adobe Flash Player or Microsoft Silverlight.

If for some reason neither of those plugins solve the OP's problem then we can move on to codecs.

Everything seems good, Siverlight is installed along with the newest version of Flash Player. My home page is MSN it opens their videos immediately, I just googled Bing videos and clicked on the picture with subject on the video screen it acts as though it is going to start, screen goes dark as if it were attempting to buffer, yet nothing ever happens.

No other videos I attempt to watch ever have any problems, only Bing!

Well, I just tried like you say, MSN Bing Video, and Bingo Bing Video play, but they where YouTube, XP Pro setup.
Maybe you do have some missing Codecs as Neil has suggested, or maybe your Video card could be the problem.
By the way that is not the Bing that I was thinking off :D:D

I just tried Bing video on multiple computers, multiple browsers. They videos are Flash, but they never load. A Bing problem, not an issue with your computer.

I removed and reinstalled Silverlight, all is now well with the Bing video function. I guess I never thought of Silverlight becoming corrupted, please let me know if this resolves anyone else's problem I was having?
