Hi Dan, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

Try downloading and installing the latest video driver for your video card from here, NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4400 Driver.

You should put your system information in your WindowsBBS user profile, especially considering you are asking a question regarding hardware

Who manufactured the video card? NVIDIA don't make graphics adapters, only graphics chipsets. If the latest drivers don't work, try looking up drivers for the adapter's model at the adapter manufacturer's website.

Update the motherboard chipset drivers (before installing updated graphics drivers).

Graphics adapter manufacturers can supply software that adds "tools ", like ones for overclocking the GPU, that software may not work with updated drivers.

I'm not sure if the installer would stop, but you may need to uninstall the old drivers before you install the new ones. (If you have problems getting to Windows after rebooting, go to the Startup Options menu (F8) and choose the selection VGA mode.)
