I know that printer drivers aren't included in start up in safe mode which is why the print spooler service can't be started,

My problem is that at the moment, system performance on a pc at my office is so bad that safe mode is the only way to improve it. The user needs to print, but obviously can't because the computer is running in safe mode.

What I want to know is this: Is there a way (like startup parameters or something) to load the printer drivers when booting into safe mode so that the print spooler can start?

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

By design it is not possible to start the print spooler in Safe Mode - as a workaround save the document to a USB stick and print on another computer.

I don't know if you start the comuter in Safe Mode with Networking that would enable printing to a network printer - I very much doubt it as the job still has to be spooled..
