Resolved Pink instead of white

Hey there. I've got what possibly is the weirdest problem I ever encountered in Windows. Something is screwing with the ways the colors are viewed, so that what should be White is now pink. I modified the design, but although most of Windows is white then, every web page that should be white is, well... pink.
When loading Windows, the boot logo is displayed correctly as is all text as well as the BIOS. I tried different monitors and now also changed the graphics card as i suspected the old one might be dying.
Still no luck.
What i even weirder is that the other colors are displayed entirely normal, so the blue is still blue, the "Start" in the bottom left corner is white, but the start menu is pink (on the left side) and a light mint green on the right.
I reset the desktop designs prior to modifying them afain, only resulting in some more pink yet no other distortions in the way things are projected onto the monitor. I'd greatly appreciate any ideas that might point me in the right direction, as i definitely run out of ideas of my own... TIA!

Also... the mouse arrow is white, the title of windows is white, yet the content is pink. When I set the appearance options to windows classic style and contrast white, stuff is pink, yet arrow etc. is white. So it does not generally modify all white to pink. I am baffled..

edit: I have to add something. Not everything on webpages that should be white is pink. This text window is pink, yet the breadcrumb navigation on top is white, for example. The Google background is pink, but the rendered image has a white outline. Some if the google ads here sport a pink background, some manage white...

 

Gosh, solved...
If you're interested... It was an unlikely combination of problems...
1) The onboard graphics card has some issues, which manifested in flickering and color change, which were (mostly) solved with a new card.
2) Since the monitor was also changed, I didn't suspect it anymore and the graphics obviously bettered the situation, further points of interest were described above.
3) I ran out of options so I changed the monitor a second time (good thing we good multiple LCDs standing around... this time I chose a differend make and model to exclude the possibility that the same make & model (& age) would sport the same error after a certain time and, well... bingo. Seems as if both Mitsubishi models have the same problem. How unlikely was that?! And how weird that some white was white and some white pink (still don't get that).

So thanks for the time, everyone. If you know an explanation about the "some white white,some white pink "-phenomenon, let me know, I'm quite curious!
