Question LAN connections not there

I have recently added a new HD to an older laptop (Thinkpad T40) and installed WIN XP. The installation appears to work but there are no network connections and I cannot determine how to get a wireless connection even though this system had wireless work before the old HD crashed. Suggestions?

Welcome to WindowsBBS.

You'll probably have to install the drivers.

Hi jlkrakli. Welcome to Windowsbbs!

Since there is no LAN connection have you installed the drivers for your wirelss card? When you install the drivers for the wireless device you should be able to get an internet connection. Download the Network drivers from this link.

Edit: Arie beat me to it.
