[My Pictures link not on Start Menu]

Hi, I have noticed that all my pictures that I download from camera are put in My Documents as My Pictures is not on start menu. I have tried usual method of fixing - right click on start menu, properties etc unticking and then reticking display link for My Pictures but still doesn't appear. Has anyone any ideas? I know that I could just leave things as they are but is helpful to have them separate.

If you are comfortable working in the Registry, the key that enables/disables showing Pics on the Start menu is:

Code:
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2857422465-927890586-840360825-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Start_ShowMyPics
To show the Pics, the Value Data string should be 1 and to not show them it would be 0 (zero).

If the value string does not exist, you can create it and set the value string accordingly.
