bbs popup at boot

    client is getting at boot a message "bbspopup ". what the heck is this does anyone know ???

    this is a brand new vostol 220 with xp pro. ive got 30 machines exactly like this out there and this client is the first to get this message. researched a little but the web on this one is not to helpful.

    bbspopup is a message from the bios, usually press Fx key to get boot menu. Disable it in the bios. I believe BBS == bios boot screen.

    i honestly cant say ive ever seen that so client must have done some thing to cause this because it was working perfectly when i set it up. i have a dell here on my desk im working on i will go into the bios and see where this variable is.

    went through every option in the bios and not finding anything regarding boot bios screen or anything close to that. guess i will have to make a trip to this person. out of literally a thousand systems this is the one client that would find some thing no one else ever has. hes a good man but at times drives me to drink and drink a lot.
