Wink Hide desktop Icon Text

Is there anyway in xp to hide the text on the desktop and only show the icons?

My System

I don't think you can; I may be wrong but I think a name is required. However, you might want to try this:

rightclick on the icon, click rename, while the name is highlighted hold down the Alt Key and type 255 {ALT+255} (you have to use the number keys on the right of your keyboard not the ones above the letters), press enter. ALT+255 is an ASCII space. To rename a second Icon you will have to hold down the Alt Key and type 255 two times. For the third Icon its three times, etc.

This is the only thing I can think of. There are people her a lot smarter than me who may have some other suggestions but this is all I can think of.
