After reformatting system, cannot print

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 and Samsung ML-1430. Been using the ML-1430 and Dell together for years and cannot find the Install Disk for the Samsung. Connected with USB printer cable. Everything worked fine for years.
I reformatted the HD to clean up the accumulated dead files, fine. Downloaded the Samsung ML-1430 driver from various locations and install it. I can send the a print job to the print queue, but encounter an error every time and it will not print. I've used the Troubleshooting option - worthless. Gives me no solid reason for the failure to print.

Are their additional drivers needed for the Dell 8200? Is there anything else on that Installation Disk that I do not have?

Please don't overlook the obvious because I am capable of missing it.

Thanks in advance.

Although I may have previously used toggle.com in this quest to get my printer working, this time it did the trick. Something that was a little different than in the past, when I went to Install the printer, I got a screen asking to have Plug and Play do the install.

Bottom line: I can now print. I can also sleep tonight without running through hundreds of possibilities as to where the disk may have gone, and different approaches to get this working.

Thanks!
