Go to START > RUN and type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll and press enter or OK. That should fix you right up!

ps. Be sure to include the space before and after the /i

Just as a FYI, this problem has already been resolved. And, the solution "START > RUN and type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll " does exactly what your solution does, without having to revert to RegEdit.

:D Well, just in case some folks like to do things differently, I'll post several ways to accomplish the fix for the problem. No doubt there are others since this bug was reported as far back as 2002, maybe even earlier. I used the alias Zephyr at that time but have dropped it since moving from CA. back to IL for my "golden years." :) SEE OLD POST

Of all the fixes, the Dial-A-Fix method holds more promise since the software has other uses.

I'm sure there must be other methods but I wouldn't blame anyone for losing interest and not posting them. :D
