    Good morning guys.

First off, I have searched your forums for another post about this and have tried the options listed in the thread with no success.

I have been trying to find a solution to my problem for more than a week and still haven't found one that has helped.

My problem started when our company purchased a new Kyocera KM-5050 KX printer. After the printer is installed on the user machine (Windows XP SP2) everything works fine. After the user has rebooted the machine the trouble starts. Each time the user tries to change the printer preferences (changes to which tray they want to print to) the pc hangs up and DrWatson errors:

Faulting application drwtsn32.exe, version 5.1.2600.0, faulting module dbghelp.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x0001295d.

I have no idea why this is happening so instead of trying to decipher the DrWatson log file I decided to ask for help on the matter. Here is the log file from the pc, I also receive this exact same symptoms on other machines.

I have re-installed the printer about 4 times already with no success. Could there be a driver clash causing this to happen?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Minette.

    Here's the log:

Minette - Welcome to the Board :)

I can't profess to be able to interpret the log, but do you have Debugging Tools for Windows installed ? ....

The file is located in C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows\dbghelp.dll

If so I would uninstall/update them and see if the problem is resolved.
