Bt Broadband folder displays on Desktop At boot up
When Booting my machine Bt Broadband folder is displayed on the Desktop with the launcher file displayed within. When I close it down in the normal way everything operates as normal until the next re- boot when it displays again.
I would love to know how to stop this happening without deleting the programme etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

It's been a few years since I was with BT for broadband, but I recall that an icon was placed on the desktop. The presence of the folder suggests corruption or misguidance in the install.
Do you also have the BT icon on the desktop?
Have a look in startup in msconfig and see if there is anything there relating to BT. Can always disable and test and then re-enable.
