Most programs will need to be uninstalled by going to The Control Panel and using the Add/Remove Programs applet. The installed programs will be listed there.

There is no guarantee that they will all uninstall successfully but that's the way to start the process.

You should not manually delete any programs unless you know that they are "stand alone" programs and have made no Registry entries. Those types will not ordinarily be listed in the Add/Remove applet.

If I may suggest, it would be much better to just go ahead and reinstall Windows cleanly and you will be certain to leave all your installed programs behind. Of course you would need to back up your personal files that you want to save.

It would help a bit if you tell which program is not uninstalling

But generally you can kill it manually by deleting the map where the program resides and then use a program like winaso registry optimizer for cleaning it.
( any good registry cleaning tool can help )

If your not sure you can rename the map first to see if all goes well.

Most of the time i go into the registry and find the program and delete it myself but this depends ofcourse on your knowledge.
Because some programs make a real mess in the registry or are very hard to get rid of.
