Hi, I need help involving an application error with explorer.exe when I access the 'My Videos' folder located in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Videos. About 15 seconds after I view the folder in Explorer I get a message saying:

    "explorer.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x0567c3e3" referenced memory at "0xffffffff ". The memory could not be "read ".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program "

Also I simultaniously get the common error message:
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "
. . and asks me if I would like to send the error report or not.

Obviously, any option I choose still closes Windows Explorer which prevents me from viewing my files in the "My Videos" folder.

Can anyone help me here? any help is greatly appreciated

I believe your problem will be because Windows is trying to show you a thumbnail of the video files and there will be one file in there it doesn't like too much.

Open a different folder, click View > Details

Now click Tools > Folder Options > View > Apply to all folders.

Now see if you can go in to that folder.
