Convert fat32 to ntfs

    I purchased an external drive which is FAT32. I want to back up my computer hard drive to the external drive. My computer is Windows XP Professional and my file system is NTFS
    Without any pain how do I do this?

    Just reformat it and choose NTFS as the format option.
