    Hi guys,

Newbie here. I've been searching the FAQS for similar problem to mine but couldn't find any. Maybe someone could please help me.

Recently, everytime I click on an icon on the desktop, several other icons around it are also highlighted. How do I get rid of this problem?

If you double click on an icon does the shortcut work and do other things open too?

Does it help if you click on a blank/empty sport on the desktop and then click an icon?

It sounds like you have a sticky shift key but I would think you'd have problems with caps when typing if that were the case.

If you click on an icon on the desktop, then click somewhere on a blank spot on the desktop, then hold the shift key and click on another icon on the desktop, it will highlight all icons from the one you previously clicked on to the second one you clicked on.

Do you have another keyboard you could try?
