I don't know if this can be done (with WinXP Pro), but if it can I'd appreciate someone telling me how to do it:

I'd like to "program" one of the function keys with my email address, so that when I'm filling out a form or something, I only have to press the function key instead of typing the email address. Not only will this save me typing (I'm a 1-finger typist), but it will avoid typos.

    Thank you.

I would be reasonably sure that that cannot be done - the function keys are hard coded into the keyboard driver.

However enabling Autocomplete in IE should go part way and for the whole hog I recommend Roboform - there is a trial which supports up to 10 entries. Give it a try.

The Google Toolbar has an auto-complete function, too. It highlights the fields that it can offer to complete, and one click fills them all in. I don't use it for credit card info, of course, but it's handy for name, address, phone, email address etc.

I've been happy with Hotkeycontrol available at http://www.inchwest.com/ for creating macros (e.g. configure function keys) on my personal computer.

Could you please direct me how to find it. There's so much stuff there, you need another Google to find anything on Google.

helpseeker, to find the goodies at Google, there's several links at the top left. Click on more and then on even more. That will get you there. ;)
