OK, had a hard crash and restarted system. System loaded fine, except that windows explorer now takes mins where as it used to be secs to display all the drives. Did a system restore to see if that would fix it, but no go...

I have (2) window explorer icons (on desktop and in quick launch) Even when 1 is already loaded, there is still the delay as the 1st. Talking mins here and not secs. How can I get it back to the speed it was?

It is like this when ever I restart the system where as before, it did not happen...

Can I get some help please???

    TIA!!!

Are there any errors / warnings listed in Event Viewer? To open Event Viewer, go to Start > Run and type eventvwr.msc, click OK.

Check your Application and System logs for errors.

You can double click on any error for more details, and there is also a button to copy the error to your clipboard for easy copying & pasting.
