    Hello!

I've been trying to fix this problem for a week with various things I've read on the Microsoft knowledge base and also an old link I found on this forum.

I tried the steps to edit the registry based on what I've read but it never works.

Can someone walk me through step by step how I might get the "open with" option back when I right-click on a file in windows explorer.

I feel like I just need to start over with someone's help.

    I have Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for help! :)

The easiest fix it to download and run the .reg file, "Restore Open With on the Right Click," line 220, left-hand column on Kelly's Korner.

If you want to see the registry edits it does, open it it Notepad.
