I have a lot of entries on the System Configuration Utility Start up Tab that I've unchecked and don't run at startup. Is there any way to delete these entries from this list?

You could do the Registry editing manually but it's easier and safer to use some freeware designed for the purpose, such as this. In case you have trouble finding the download link in that busy page, here's a direct link.

If you stop them through a program such as Code Stuff Starter, available at PC World, they will be removed from the Startup list. If you download the program and the programs you installed still appear in msconfig just recheck them through msconfig and then uncheck them in Code Stuff Starter and they will be gone from the msconfig list.

I tried surferdude2's suggestion. Works great. Thanks.
