Just when I thought I had all my xp compatibility issues worked out...... I have some older children's CD's that require the color to be set at 256.... so on my Window's 98 at school, my students can use them. When I bring them home to preview, work on lessons, etc... no luck. XP doesn't allow 256 ---or does it and I'm missing it? Any idea how to run those programs on my xp?

You can try right clicking on the shortcut to the program, going to the Compatibility tab and telling it to run in compatibility mode for Win98. Sometimes that actually works!
