Computer Screen Freezes
My computer screen freezes when I toggle back and forth from my user screen. I am only able to get past it when I manually shut down my computer.
Any advice?

I do not know for sure what the real problem is but I do have a question.
Why does the file above appear in at least 4 different locations. 2 right together early on and a couple more later on.

Joe,
First off, your log looks clean.
Just as an FYI, under normal circumstances, HijackThis logs don't belong in the XP forum. The preferred place for posting a log is in the Removing Spyware and Viruses forum. There are times that a log will be requested in this forum if someone helping thinks there may be some relevant information derived through it, but really shouldn't be posted here otherwise. I'd also like to point out that you are using a beta version of HijackThis that most folks in the malware removal forums are avoiding the use of until further testing is done. Version 1.99.1 is still the preferred version and available here .
Just to be sure, is the lockup occuring when switching users? Is it only when switching to one account, or is it when switching to any account? Or is this a dual monitor situation, and switching between monitors is when the lockup occurs? Please give us a bit more detailed description of the problem, as well as any other problems you might be experiencing, even if they don't seem related.
BillyBob,
While I don't know exactly what causes HijackThis to list the processes in the order in which it does, it is quite normal to see them in random order as in the above log. My best guess would be that they are arranged according to PID.

Computer Freezes When switchong from user to user
The lockup isoccuring when switching from users. I did however receive a message that said Comodo Antivirus does not support switching from user to user. I have also removed the beta version of HJT and replaced it with the 1.99.
Thanks for the advice Noah!

Hi Joe,
Indeed, Comodo does not yet support fast-user switching.

From the Comodo Forums April 16, 2007:
The CAVS will be made suitable for fast use switchin soon. The team were focusing on some important bugs and development in the software first, before focusing on this. It is scheduled to be completed soon.

I have seen no mention of it being done in the available beta version 2.0 as of yet.
Not familiar with Comodo's user controls. Can you disable it and see if the lockup still occurs?
