Computer name on Hard drive?

Hi everyone,

I pulled a hard drive from another computer due to motherboard failures but I need to know that computer name. I can view the data on it by putting it as a slave drive but I can't boot from it. The computer was a Dell GX50 and it's in a Dell GX270. Does Windows store the computer name on the hard drive somewhere? Thanks a ton!!!

Ha ha, yeah I know it's kind of weird. Well, I have an application that is dependent on a device ID that is tied to the computer name. Thanks.
