I was having a lot of trouble with CDs and the HP DVD Writer / CD Writer combo drive. I accessed Control Panel to look at Add & Remove programs.
In error, I deleted the DLA (Drive Letter Access) program.
Now, I'm unable to do any CD work.
Is there any way to get the DLA back?
    Thanks for your help.

Is this the program you are after ? ....

    Drive Letter Access

If so it is probably part of your burning software for which you have the disk? May be on the driver disk for the burner or computer.

But if you can't access the CD you have a problem :)

First suggestion is to use System Restore to restore your computer back to a point before you removed DLA.
