How to "UnWrite Protect" external hard drives

Hi. Thanks in advance for helping me with this problem. I recently loaded a USB protectin program on my PC. It was a terrible program and I had to go into Safe Mode to remove it from my computer. When I try to change data on my usb external hard drives it get a "this disc is write ptotected" error. How do I unwrite protect these drives? thanks again..john

I have a feeling you'll have to reinstall the application again and unprotect the drive.

My System
Hello mondocain and welcome to the Board,

If reinstalling and rolling back the write protection doesn't work:

Same problem. Same software?
"Write-protected" USB ports?

Regards - Charles
