    Hello all,
I have a Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 computer and in the directory C:/Program Files I have a folder called xerox. Inside the xerox folder there is another folder called nwwia. The xerox folder is 0 bytes in size. I know the folder is not spyware and I have seen this folder on a number of XP machines. Every attempt I have made at deleting the folder has failed. I get this message when I attempt to delete the folder: cannot delete nwwia is is being used ny another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again. I have tried to delete the folders in safe mode, I have made myself the owner of the folders and tried to delete it, I also have tried to rename the folders and then try to delete it. All of which have been unsuccessful. I use Regseeker as part of my daily cleanup on my computer and I searched for the folder and it found many entries including a few in the C:/WINDOWS directory. So my question is should I delete the xerox folder using Regseeker or just leave it alone and forget about it. Is the xerox folder also a system folder or not? Any insight on this issue would be appreciated. :)

Read: What is this Xerox directory doing in Program Files?

    Just leave it alone.

Thanks for the response Arie. I will leave the folder alone. But little annoyances like not being able to delete a useless folder like xerox thats being prtoected by windows is so annoying and it ****** me off. I like having a clean system and its things like not being able to delete useless folders that are just taking up space makes me so mad. I hope that Microsoft doesn't have all of these annoyances in Windows Vista like they do in XP. :( Anyway thanks for the link Arie. I will leave the folder alone. :)
