windows xp pro: free or cheap?

I came upon a coupe of URLs that offer free/cheap windows XP pro:

Admin: URL's removed

Is it for real and legal? Are the products good , has anybody tried?

Thanks.

I am not even going to try and open the URLs. If you get this information through email, ignore it and do not open the URL.

If it is significantly cheaper than what for the same package Amazon.com offers the product, I would not even consider it.

Nor would I purchase a license through an auction site.

When it sounds too good to be true-> Run Forest Run....

Read through the Terms and Condition section and you'll find little details like this:

2.3. You cannot register the software with the manufacturer and updates are available not for all the products

The second link is to a site that promotes "qualify for free XP" by endless loop of completing direct mail marketing street address & email address harvesters. A scam to get your address & email address.

Call Bill Gates and ask him.
No shorteage of scams on the internet.
If you contact these fine people with the free Windows XP Pro ask them if they can supply a list of their 16 - 21 year old female customers.
Some of us might here want to email some of these young women just to wish them a friendly hello.
By the way do you believe in the "Tooth Fairy" as well ?
