    Hello,

When i am browsing through the 'My Music' folder and explorer is in thumbnails view i can see images of the albums, which is fine but when i go into the album folder there is no image there. I have selected 'Show hidden files and folders' in the folder options view tab but there is still no image there.

Are the images stored somewhere else in the system or are the images embedded into the song files? If the later, is there a way of getting those images?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

The information is stored in each folder in files named: Folder.jpg and AlbumArtSmall.jpg (albumartsmall.jpg is the image used to display album art in Media Player when its sized so that the display area is smaller than 200 x 200 pixels, and in the folder thumbnails for folders that contain album folders. If you don't create albumartsmall.jpg, however, Windows XP will automatically scale folder.jpg in these cases.)

Go Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > Under "Hidden files and folders" checkmark the one that says "Show hidden files and folders "; and UNCHECK "Hide protected operating system files (recommended) "
