Unhappy [Folders will not open, but programs run]

I am having issues.
None of my folders will open (ie my documents, my pictures, control panel etc.)
I can open program files (ie kodak software etc)
Can someone please help.

What happens when you try to open a folder?

When I try to open folders, the mouse get's the hour glass for about 1 second, then nothing.

Start, Run, regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

That forces a reregistration of the associations relevant to Folders.

If you still have issues, (and I suspect you will) you have a virus.
