Taskbar playing hide and seek

    hi i had a look through and couldnt find anything similar to my issue. when i have my windows maximised to full screen i can not get to my taskbar without having press the start button on my keyboard. if windows are minimised or not at full screen the taskbar works fine

    Purplefurbyeatr - Welcome to the Board :)

    First checkout the task bar settings .....

    Right click on the Taskbar > Properties and ensure that Autohide is unchecked and Keep the taskbar on top of other windows is checked.

    If that is not the source of the problem look at the Task Bar Repair Tool from Kelly Theriot.

    thank you so much i didnt have the keep on top of windows checked *blush* for some reason <we will call it a blonde moment> i thought that would counteract the autohide and thanks also for the task bar tool kit it also solved another issue on another computer
