    Windows XP SP3 support information

Microsoft provides free setup and compatibility support for customers who install Windows XP SP3. To obtain support for a Windows XP SP3 issue, we recommend that you follow these steps:

    1. Visit the Windows XP Support Center. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://support.microsoft.com/winxp
    2. To find content that is related to your issue, you can search the Microsoft Knowledge Base. Or, you can use the tabs on the left side of the page. In particular, use the tabs that are labeled Top issues, Error messages, and Installation and setup.
    3. If you cannot find content that is related to your issue, use the Contact a support professional by email, online, or phone link on the Contacts tab.
    4. Make sure that you select Windows XP Service Pack 3 from the Select a Product list.
