Well, to make a long story short, somehow some basic programs like WordPad and Paint are gone from my system. I remember a while back adjusting some settings with the Add/Change programs buttons under the Add/Remove area, but I'm not sure if that was the reason if these programs not being available anymore.

Is there a way to get these back? Preferrably, I'd like to find a page on the MS website allowing me to download these.

Please help me if you can.

    Thanks!

If you go back into add/remove programs, click on add/remove windows components. Go into "Accessories and Utilities" then to "Accessories ". This is where Paint is. Click it, then Ok to close that screen, and ok again to go back to the main list. THen click OK and that will reinstall Paint.

I don't know how to get back wordpad though.
