virus that turns off computer

Hello Every one,

I got this virus my computer it will turn off after a few mins. I tried to re start in safe mode to remove the virus but no good. Is there any way i can stop the virus from turning off the computer long enough so i can remove it ?

 

Any kind of a message showing before it shuts down?

 

No nothing but some thing weird happend when i took it off the power supply (its a laptop) i got some batter error and it shutdown. Now i removed the battery and i am running on ac power and so far it has not shut down.

 

update :

When i took the laptop off the AC power and tried to run it from battery i noticed there was no battery icon and after 10 mins a low battery warrning came up and computer shut off. I then removed the battery and now the computer does not shut off on its own any more. So i think its safe to say the 3 year old laptop battery was just done.
