Windows Update: "Update is not allowed to download due to regulation."
I'm getting this error message in my logs on several networks. Everything was going fine until the updates that were released last Tuesday.ONE machine on one of the said networks updated without a problem.

I am an administrator, but with admin privilages. I tried to log into the default administrator profile, but I must've forgotten the password!!

In a couple of the articles in your links, this could be due to server demand on WU servers, which is what I suspected in the first place, as this is a regional problem, and a few machines here and there managed to get the updates.
I have the same problem in

I don't see how that is possible, as I only use about 5 default passwords, and none of them work!
I can access the WU site from my computer, and a Custom installation says there are no Critical Updates available...
I think I may just wait this out a few days and see if it is indeed an issue with the WU servers

I changed it this morning, and when I logged in, WU didn't prompt me for anythingmy log, I noticed I got the same log entry on every update in the past year
