I'd like to reduce the length of the list appearing under Start> All Programs by organizing certain programs into folders. Is there a way to do that?

    BirdieBob--Yes!
Right click on Start|Explore|Programs|right click a blank spot|New|Folder. Name it what you want. It will now appear in Start|All Programs and you can drag and drop whatever shortcuts you want into that folder. Continue the process until you have created all the folder categories you want.
