I transferred about a 100 files from my hard drive to a CD-RW disk and somehow when I did it made two copies of the files. File #1 is ok with 100 files, File #2 states : "read only" and I cannot delete them. is there a way to remove the "read only" attribute so that I can delete them and free up space on this CD-RW disk?

    Thanks

AFAIK, all files on any CD are intrinsically Read Only. You could copy them back to your hard drive and then erase the CD. Then recopy them correctly to eliminate the second copy.
