    Running WinXp, Home, SP2

I have a device (4th bootup device) that says:
    "4th boot Device [IBA GE Slot 0208 v1210] ".
Any ideas as to what this may be?

    thanks,

Where are you seeing this - in the BIOS, the Device Manager or elsewhere?

I did a bit of digging and came up with this:

    from here:

    http://www.rlx.com/downloads/pdf/hardwareguides/RM 1400 HW Rel Notes.pdf

So it looks like it's a way of booting from the LAN. It's not something I've come across before, I'll have to see what else I can find out about it.

    Been doing some searching myself.
IBA = Intel Boot Device (for booting from a NIC).

While i have no use for it (i think)), no server here just an end user PC. I do have a intel ethernet device so i guess it needed......
Guess its built into the BIOS and i never noticed it before.

Thank you, this narrows it down some.
