Sound input switching (to Pinnacle DC30)

I have recently installed XP and now I find that I am unable to switch the sound source to my Pinnacle DC30 board.
The sound card is integral to the intel motherboard but the sounds properties box only shows "Creative Sound BlasterPCI" alhough the "Hardware" page shows the DC30.
    Has anyone any ideas please?

    doug.clarke - Welcome to the Board :)

Have you tried disabling the onboard sound chip - either through Device Manager or, preferably, via a jumper on the mobo? I am assuming here that the DC30 is also a sound card??

    Video Card

No the DC30 is a Video capture card.
If I disable the on-board sound I won't get any sound.

Outside my experience I'm afraid - I've edited your thread title to hopefully draw others in.
