Question Taskbar (size does matter)

I prefer to have a 2 line taskbar (2 rows high). By dragging my mouse with the left mouse button held down I can change the taskbar from 1 line to 2 lines.

After this I lock the taskbar. After 3-4 days of logging off and shutting down the taskbar eventually becomes unlocked and only one line high (back to default).

Am I the only one seeing this? It occurs on more than 1 PC for me?

Red face

No mate, you are not the only one... This happens to me as well and it is pretty annoying. In my case, most of my desktop icons are in the task bar so I need 3 rows (I like the desktop clean). When that happens, I have to set the task bar again. Apparently the locking does not work properly.

I would like to hear about this problem resolution too...

Cheers!

I guess you knew you could add many items to your Quick Launch and still only use one taskbar?
A click on Quick Launch and they all appear.

That is how I help keep my desktop clean and still have only one taskbar.

Thanks

Thanks but...

...the issue here was not the taskbar or desktop cleanup but how to lock the taskbar (see first post).

Thanks anyway...

The question is that why does the entire launch bar (quick launch, and system tray, and active applications,....) eventually reverts to one row high. We want it to reamain 2 or more rows high.
