Cannot Uninstall Program

Hello Everone,
I have a program on my computer that won't uninstall. I go to Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, try to remove the program. I get this message " C:\ Program Files\ Backup E-Mail\ unis000.dat does not exist.
Cannot Uninstall." The program, does not have an uninstall option in it. How can I uninstall this program? Thanking all, for your help.

Have you tried reinstalling it and then trying the uninstall?

I tried to reinstall the program. Here is what I got,
Error
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
Delete File failed; code 5
Access is denied.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.
I tried the retry, get the same message. I didn't try the Ignore option, because of the not recommented warning. So I had to Abort.

My System

Coyote ...

This has worked for me in the past.
Download RegSeeker, if you don't already have it. It doesn't need to be installed.

Open RegSeeker and search the registry for any references to the program. Delete them. Do another search for the company that produced the program, and delete those references, UNLESS you have other programs on your computer produced by the same company.

In Windows Explorer, delete the program folder and any shortcuts to it you may have.
This will probably leave some .dlls behind, but the program, itself, will be effectively removed.

Used Reg Seeker, it worked OK. The program is gone. Thanks a million. But now I have a file on my desktop called %Users Profile%. Here is what the folder has in it,
Here is what each folder had in it, starting with % Users Profile %

1-Local Settings
2-Application Data
3-Identities
4- (6D1ECD60-EOFA-11D7-86E8-...
5- Microsoft
6-Outlook Express
7-Cleanup, Drafts, Folders, Offline, POP3uidl, Sent Items, Deleted Items, E-Bay, Inbox, Outbox, Saved Items. All dbx files except Cleanup, which is a text doc.
I am using Win XP Pro --- Outlook Express 6.0
When I went to Outlook Express, all my folders ( Inbox, Sent Items, ect.) are empty. What is %User Profie%? How can I get my OE data back?

Found why %User Profile% was showing up on the desktop. In OE, under Tools>Options>Maintenance and under Store Folder option, the path was wrong. again, thanking all for their help.
