Smile Bluetooth XP Home SP2 [No Bluetooth Places]

Despite having a USB Bluetooth dongle, (Working OK) and a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, I do not appear to have any "Bluetooth Places".

The icon is on the desktop and in the Control panel, but double clicking on it does nothing.

The phone appears in the Bluetooth devices list, and as a modem in the DUN settings, but still no "Bluetooth Places".

The software that came with the phone, which allows me to change settings on the Sony T630, doesn't work, and I suspect this is due to the "Bluetooth Places", problem.

The manual that came with dongle suggests ways to fix this problem, but guess what, - yes, you have to run "Bluetooth Places", and make a few changes.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
