I am having problems loading my printer start up disks onto my pc. Each time i try to install my first disk a message box appears. The box is headed "16 bit Windows Subsystem ". With the message - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. This is a problem that has just recently begun happenin. I am currently using Windows XP Pro as my OS.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this error and how it may be resolved.

    thankyou.

If you do a search on AUTOEXEC.NT in this forum you'll find the solution pretty fast....
