Cannot access shared folder

My son, Stefan, and his wife Allison are on a LAN. Allison has accounts on both AllisonPC and StefanPC (both using WinXP Home). She also has an account on StefanPC.
Document and Settings > Allison is shared on both pc's. All shared folders on both systems are accessible except for
Document and Settings > Allison on StefanPC. To wit, within the LAN no one, including Allsion, can access Document and Settings > Allison on StefanPC.???

Am perplexed as to why?

Chuck

Does seem really strange.

Are both of them logging on with a non-blank password? If not, would they be willing to try it? If so, the accounts would need to be modified (from safe mode and administrator logon with XP-home) and the passwords added.

Speaking of safe mode with administrator logon, while there it would be interesting to take a look at properties->security for the busted share and for a good share.
