sort order problem in XP explorer

In Windows XP explorer when you have a folder full of folders (and the names of the folders are numbers) the numerical order is different than Windows 98 & 95. In XP it ignores any zeros that are before a number (e.g. 00158 is sorted as if it were 158). Also it ignores any numbers after a dash. I want it to sort the folders the same way it sorts them in Win95 & 98. But how?????????????

Example:

Windows 98 way of sorting:
001400
0014-02
00150-1
0110
12-00
1201
1501
15-02
150-3

Windows XP way of sorting (same list):
12-00
0014-02
15-02
0110
00150-1
150-3
1201
001400
1501
