Pdp Rpc Server Window

When I shut down my computer, running XP, I have started getting a message that says PDP RPC Server Window not responding. How can I get it to stop this? Thanks for your always helpful advice!

Lou

Hard to track down info on that one.

Try Here and search on the page for cmpdpsrv. According to them it is a printer driver enhancement - PDP = Printer Driver Plus.

Given the fact that at least one very destructive worm messes with the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) server service, it might not be a bad idea to also to a virus scan using an online scanner.
