I am doing a repair install of xp. When it gets to the END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT it stops. I press f8 to agree but nothing happens. I can scroll down to read or press esc. and it quits and reboots. Any ideas? can this be bypassed?

    thanx

    Two possibilities ....

Dirty CD? clean carefully with radial strokes

Faulty F8 key? try another keyboard.

You cannot bypass the Agreement stage.

Using the buttons F1 thru F8 require me to press and hold the F lock. A very small button that I never use. Of course this is my wife's computer

    thanx for your help
