Interesting Prob. open from start menu = MOVE ITEMS dialog
Hello I have an interesting problem occuring on my WinXP machine. Whenever I double click a folder in the start menu, I get a "Move Items" dialog box asking where I want to move that folder. I have to then click cancel, which causes the folder to open up like it should normally. What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance for any help!
EDIT: The problem also happens when I right click a folder and select any of these: Open, Open All Users, Explore, and Explore All Users. Does NOT happen when I right click and Open actual shortcuts (not folders). Also will only happen after Start > All Programs > then a folder

Thank you for your reply. I have used a move/copy to utility.... actually many now that im thinking about it. many i have already used the uninstall utilitiy to remove. i have kept filetargets on the machine. is there a way I can remove these entries by using the registry?.. and then reinstall filetargets to put (working) entires back?
Removed both of those registry keys and the problem is solved. I will now install FileTargets to get back working copy and move to links. Thanks for everyones help!
EDIT: I mean thank you to Abraxas for your help.
