shut down not responding

    HI!

    Whenever I try to shut down my computer by pressing the shut down button, nothing happens. I can use the computer as normal and not a single process is started. The same goes for "restarting" and "stand-by ".

    The only way to shutdown the computer is by pressing the power button on the case :(

    not even if I install something that requiers restart (windows update) does my computer respond.

    HELP

    I had the very same scenario.........go here and look on there menu then shutdown fixes.
    It worked for me.
